College Food

As a college student I have found that life is about what's cheapest and easiest because I have little time and even less money. Food is no exception for that rule, but at the same time I'm not opposed more expensive recipes as long as they are good. This blog is dedicated to some of my most favorite recipes. Feel free to try them for yourself! :D

A Pie for Pi Day

Let me start by saying don't tell your loved ones that you have a blog. They will try to tell you what to post, or at least try to put their ideas into everything of yours. That being said, my mom told me that I "had" to do a post about pie for Pi day. So here's a pie for Pi day. This is an oldie but a goody. I swear we have it for ever family get together, whether it be a big holiday or just a planned family day. That being said, I LOVE this pie!!!!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Three Layer Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients:

1 Pre-made Pie Shell (We usually use graham cracker shells.)
Bottom Layer
1 8-oz block Cream cheese
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
Middle Layer
1 Package Jell-O Instant Chocolate Pudding
1 3/4 Milk
Top Layer
1 Tub Cool Whip
1 Chocolate Bar (shredded)

Here's How To:

Bottom Layer
Mix the block of cream cheese with the powdered sugar and spread on the bottom of a pre-made pie shell.
Middle Layer
Prepare the instant pudding as directed on the box for pie filling. (Mix the Jell-O pudding mix with the milk and let sit.) Then spread that in the pie shell on top of the bottom layer. Let sit in the fridge for about 10 minutes.
Top Layer
Spread Cool Whip on top and make it pretty with shredded chocolate bar bits.
